in Istanbul- this morning I learned to weave in the kilim style, spent all afternoon bathing on marble stones in the Turkish hammam, then ate baklava in a rain storm while the call to prayer echoed throughout the city.

we've been in Santorini for a few days now- it's so dreamy here that sometimes I can't tell if it's real! It's been so nice to relax now that Jon's tour is over and especially because I'm sick (it's the worst when you're traveling). photos I've taken won't upload on my phone but once I'm back I can promise you jasmine and bright red poppies against white stone buildings and (probably too many) photos of my new cute sandals!
